Who we are

Uncut Books is a virtual bookkeeping business founded by Kira Atwater. You can reach us at hello@uncutbookkeeping.com.

Information we collect

When you submit our application form, we collect: your full name, business name, email address, and industry; optionally your phone number and business website; the services you’re interested in; whether you use QuickBooks Online; how far behind your books are; your approximate number of bank and credit card accounts; approximate monthly transaction volume; your preferred start time; a description of the help you need; and your agreement to be contacted.

Please do not submit account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or financial documents through the form.

How we use it

We use your information only to review your application, contact you about it, and prepare a proposal if we’re a good fit. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for marketing.

How we store and protect it

Your application is stored securely online, and only Uncut Books can view it.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website, store applications securely, and send email. They handle your information only so they can provide these services to us, and they may not use it for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

If your application doesn’t lead to working together, or becomes inactive, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact with you. If you become a client, your records are handled separately under our service agreement.

Privacy requests

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information in your application at any time. Just email hello@uncutbookkeeping.com and we’ll respond promptly.
